Job Title: HR Administrator - 12 month fixed term
Location: Flexible: opportunity to be based from a number of Babcock offices,
with some home working

We're looking for someone dynamic, ambitious and eager to make an impact to become our next HR Administrator.

The difference our new HR Administrator will make
Babcock is currently transforming and we as a HR function need to support our organisation by delivering a variety of administrative tasks within 'The People Centre'. We always aim to give a leading employee experience by providing excellent customer service.
The purpose of this position is to support through the full lifecycle in order to give our customers the best service possible, typical tasks and responsibilities include:

* Working as part of a team to ensure our deadlines are met.
* Administering requests from the business for things such as flexible working, maternity and other HR related topics.
* Adhering to policies when serving the business.
* Improving standards and processes.
* Working as a team to provide help and guidance to internal team members but also the business.

Who we're looking for
We are looking for someone who is has great Customer Service skills and an enthusiastic customer focused attitude. Our ideal candidate will also be an excellent communicator, have great attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills.
If you are someone who navigates change easily, is curious about what the future holds and always seek to learn new skills, you will thrive in this role.

Experience
* Practical experience gained in an administration role within a busy environment.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
* Previous experience in an HR Administrator role is desirable.

Skills and attributes
* Capable of grasping the operations of software and capable of understanding the structure of basic reports.
* A desire to work in a busy and complex environment.
* Articulate, resilient and able to work as part of a team.
* A 'can do' attitude, enthusiastic and confident.
* Aware of the need for confidentiality.
* Conscientious with attention to detail

Education and qualifications
* Educated to GCSE level including English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
