Job Title: Aircraft Handler
Location: RAF Benson, Wallingford, Oxfordshire, OX10 6AA
Compensation: £20,155.20 + Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to join RAF Benson as an Aircraft Handler, providing class leading support to the UK Ministry of Defence. An interesting, dynamic and rewarding role utilising specialist skills whilst operating within a small team, albeit being part of a much bigger International organisation.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a people-focused fast paced environment who can adapt rapidly to fast changing plans. You'll have a can-do attitude and work well both independently and as part of a team and have the ability to communicate effectively across various disciplines and stakeholders.

You will champion a total safety approach, ensuring full compliance at all times with all relevant health, safety and environment regulations and exercise a positive approach towards workplace health and safety. You'll be expected to promote best practice, report bad practice and non-compliance and be confident enough to take preventative action if things just don't seem right.

As a Driver Handler is for the provision of professional driving for all nominated tasks including picking up and dropping off Students as required. You will meet or exceed customer expectations whilst fulfilling LAFT2 contractual needs at all times. To carry out Ground Handling/movement of Aircraft, Flight Line Operations, driving fuel bowsers, refuelling aircraft, aircraft cleaning and general duties as required.

The experience you'll bring
* Cat C Licence.
* Ground handle Grob Tutor aircraft. (In house training)
* Will require PSV and ADR (Can be trained in house)
* The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
