Class 2 Driver

Manpower are currently seeking a Class 2 Driver with a career driven mindset to join our client on a permanent basis. Our client is one of the UK's biggest names in the Building Materials Sector. The business is very much within a high period of growth, therefore this is a position for those who are looking for long-term career progression.

The day will begin at the depot, which has refreshment facilities available on site. You will load the vehicle by operating your lorry mounted crane. In this role, each day will be different and you will meet a range of customers, anywhere from the self-employed building contractor, to arriving on busy construction sites where you will liaise with the Foreman and Site Manager. The ideal candidate will be skilled in communication, problem solving and have excellent time keeping skills.

Full training is provided extensively for all candidates, you will be paired with an experienced Driver in order to learn the Operation and become an Industry expert.

Delivery of building materials within Lincolnshire

Using HIAB deliver materials

£25,000-£29,000 per annum

What are we looking for?

HGV Category C entitlement

ALLMI/ITSSAR Certification to operate HIAB is advantageous but not essential as full training can be provided for the right candidate

Ability to work within a team

Excellent customer service skills
