Your role is a key element of DRDL and have been specially designed to regulate and assure the business against statutory and certification requirements including Environmental Permitting Regulations, facilitate exceptional business performance through challenging, outcome focused assurance activities and deliver targeted assurance that provides a balanced articulation of business performance against strategic objectives, and the delivery of key enabling business services.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for an Operational Contingency Planning Manager to responsible for developing corporate conventional accident emergency arrangements and, with the Site's Business Units, the development of their contingency plans.


What will you be doing?

* Development of DRDLs corporate conventional accident response plans and provide governance and support to individual BU contingency plans.
* Production of response procedures to aid 24/7 emergency response teams.
* Lead and implement Babcock's Business Continuity process for the DRDL Site wide response including the development and maintenance of a Devonport Business Continuity Strategic Risk Register, BC Strategy and Corporate BC Plan to meet the requirements of both BIG and FMSP
* Co-ordination of and assistance to the Site's Business Unit's BC process including training.
* Develop and maintain Site recovery procedures
* To develop and conduct business continuity and emergency response training

The experience you'll bring

* Experienced emergency planner
* Knowledge of Business Continuity processes
* Able to make decisions in own sphere of responsibility
* Displays flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment
* Good negotiating and influencing skills and customer focus

* Degree level education or proven experience in EP


You will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.
