Manpower are recruiting 111 Call Handlers to work for our public sector client in Cwmbran.You will provide a frontline service in answering incoming calls and be responsible for the prioritisation of presenting clinical symptoms, supported by prioritisation software throughout a 24 hour period. This will include the transfer of patient calls to the appropriate responders.This is a temporary, ongoing role with the opportunity of a permanent position. The start date is Monday 10 January 2022, therefore you must be available to start on this date.You will undertake 5 weeks training, working 9 am - 5 pm or 8 am - 4 pm. Upon completion of your training you must be able to commit to flexible working as the service operates 24/7. You will work 7.5 hour shifts across a 7 day rota.Essential requirements:Previous call centre or customer service experience Minimum of 5 GCSE's, Grade C or above or equivalent Ability to think critically Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills Ability to use own initiative Excellent keyboard skills Ability to remain calm under pressure The role offers an hourly rate is £9.49 weekdays, £13.38 Saturdays & nights and £17.37 Sundays & Bank HolidaysThe role is subject to a satisfactory references enhanced DBS check.Apply today with an up to date CV or call 01656 657231 for more information.
