Supply Chain Co-ordinator

Manpower has an exciting position available with one of our clients as a Supply Chain Coordinator based in Edinburgh.

Working within the supply chain team reporting to the Category Manager.

This role will be a 37.5-hour week and working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.

The key roles within this position are to:

• Support & influence the stock management strategy in conjunction with Sales, Operations and Finance Managers.
• Work in partnership with the Stock Controller to identify the optimum stock holding and reorder levels.
• Develop and maintain KPI's relevant to business goals e.g., Stock turnover, days inventory etc.
• To oversee any new product supply chain set-up activities from the design through to implementation.
• Support & help deliver sales improvement strategies to achieve sales & profitability targets as directed by Sales Manager.
• Assist the Sales Manager in supervisory (not line management) of the daily sales activities of the telesales team & support the Telesales team when required.
• To ensure the health, safety and welfare of yourself and your colleagues always
• To fully adhere to competition compliance, ABC, and associated compliance policies.

Qualifications required are:

Maths and English Nat 5 or equivalent

Solid computer skills including MS Outlook, Power Point, Word, Excel etc
