Manufacturing Operative

Manpower is one of the UK's leading recruitment companies, experts in the world of work. We are working in partnership with a major global brand producing some of the worlds most recognised personal care products and are looking to recruit staff for their manufacturing facility in Leeds (LS14)

We are currently looking for skilled manufacturing operatives to work with our client on an ongoing basis.

You will need a proven background in a manufacturing environment (ideally in a FMCG environment) coupled with a good level of numeracy and literacy and be able to communicate effectively with others. You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow set processes and guidelines with a high regard to health and safety.

Shifts are 12 hours (7:00am-7:00pm, 7:00pm-7:00am) and will generally be on a 4 on 4 off basis (2 Days 2 Nights 4 Off) although some flexibility will be required due to business needs and you should note this is a 24x7 operation.

The role starts at £10.50 per hour during training and will increased once training is complete up to £14.40 per hour.

Successful candidates will also be required to complete health screening including a drugs & alcohol test.
