Maintenance Technician - Monday to Friday Days
Great salary on days - £35k
Our client are a leading producer and supplier of beef dripping products and oils to the fast food, catering and food production sectors.
The successful candidate will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure smooth running of factory machinery and equipment
- Ensure machines are inspected and maintained to manufacture spec
- Mechanical and electrical repairs to machinery
- PPM tasks
- Fitting of parts and welding when required
- Find faults and repair efficiently
- Respond to machine breakdowns, diagnose and problem solve
- Work with production teams and colleagues effectively
What we are looking for
- Level 3 or above qualified in mechanical or multi-skilled engineering
- Proven maintenance experience in production/ manufacturing settings
- Understanding of technical drawings
- Good health & safety awareness
- Can communicate at various levels across staff and management
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Preferably experience with high pressure steam systems and boilers
