Night Transport Coordinator

Location: Working from home (can be based anywhere)

Hours: 40 hours per week - Night shift (2.00pm - 10.30pm)

Salary: £20-25,000 per annum + 10% night rate

Our client is a leading short-term accommodation and support services provider to the public sector who have been successfully providing short term accommodation to central and local government for over 14 years. They pride themselves on providing quality, cost effective and transparent solutions to their customers.

They seek a Transport Coordinator to join the team, on a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract, to be responsible for planning and arranging transport movements efficiently and cost effectively across the UK.

Responsibilities will include:

• Effective and efficient delegation of internal transport movements and if required via contractor
• Flexible approach to deal with short notice changes to requirements
• Supporting delivery of revenue targets through provision of smooth transportation services
• Enabling smooth and compliant delivery of service through management of national transportation services
• Managing routing and coordination of drivers across the UK
• Working within internal procedures to ensure that key performance indicators are met with no faults
• Ensuring that the KPI's are met in regard to SU movement and reporting.
• Ensuring all records are maintained in accordance with operational requirements.
• Facilitating liaison between individual regions.
• Providing reports and information requested by operational teams
• Assisting Operations with Complaint and Incident Reporting
• Uploading daily journeys for payment
• Planning and distributing internal journeys effectively and efficiently
• Handling Home Office complaints

Previous experience in a similar role within a busy transport office would be a benefit.

It is worth noting the client will need to check 5 year's worth of employment references and will need to do a DBS check which will be done by the client themselves.
