We are proud to be working with a recognised manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds to recruit for an experienced Process Operator to join their team permanently

The company are the market leader in producing and delivering the best product from their mills located all over the Europe, with an impressive 10 million tonnes produced by their site combined in Europe. This is an exciting time for the company and is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Process Operator to join the business.

You will be joining a team who are experienced within the Mills and will be able to guide you to understand the industry. If your an Process Operator and are looking for a company that will train, guide you and you can create a career from, then this is the position for you.

Duties:

  • Taking samples to check for quality and to record accurately
  • Ensure appropriate inspection, testing and control of incoming loads. As well as unloading of raw materials from the vehicles to the raw materials holding area
  • To produce main line compound feeds, creep feeds and extruded products, ensuring quality and output targets are met. To ensure production output meets production targets.
  • Using the computerised system, manufacture feeds safely, to company standards achieving target through-puts and efficiency.

Experience:

  • Must be able to work shift patterns, rotating across a 3 shift pattern
  • Experience working in an FMCG or manufacturing industry
  • Computer Literate
  • Forklift licence is desirable
  • Must work to strict health and safety guidelines
