Babcock Onshore has an exciting opportunity for a Stores Coordinator based in our Onshore Office at Gloucestershire Airport near Cheltenham which will support the aviation fleet in the UK.

We are looking for a reliable individual to join our fast paced team based at Gloucestershire Airport. As the Stores Coordinator you will be part of an exciting supply chain supporting many of the countries Air Ambulances. Being part of a Mission Critical Operation and developing logistics skills will be a great opportunity to develop.

Who we are looking for?

You will serve a key role within the Supply Chain team ensuring that materials are receipted on-time, despatched on-time and correctly recorded in our warehouse management system. Stock accuracy is important to us and so audits and process improvements will be a key part of what we will require from you.

What will you be doing?
This is a fast-paced role relying on a well organised and task focused individual who can maintain a strong eye for detail.
Your responsibilities will include:
* The development, launch, support and improvement of manufacturing methods for complex fabrications.
* Maintaining product support through its manufacturing lifecycle.
* Liaising with design teams, manufacturing, quality and shop floor to maintain delivery & flow.
* Supporting the production facility to preserve quality, lead time and cost.
* Estimating new packages of work and providing the business with design for manufacture support.

The experience you'll bring
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Experience of logistics/ supply chain/ stores
* Ability to adapt to and manage conflicting demands
* Ability to read information in ERP systems and interpret data etc.

Experience in the aviation industry would also be an advantage.
