Manpower are looking for a Central Planner to start in January for a highly reputable company based in PE2 9JB.

The role involves Optimising and maintaining working areas for Field Service Engineers ensuring that we are delivering a service level of 2.7 days or below whilst managing tasks efficiently to improve and maximize the field productivity.


In addition, to handle inbound telephone calls / Emails from Field Service Engineers and other parts of the business to support in delivering the right customer journey.

To ensure that all areas are covered with the right engineers to deliver a consistent service level across all brands and skills, including areas where engineers are absent or limited, to enable the contact centre to book appointments in all territories within a reasonable time frame.


To ensure that all areas are maintained on a rolling 7 days and to forward plan the working areas so all FSE's receive the correct workload and allocation with the lowest possible travel/ unallocated time ensuring the NWT is at a sustainable level.


To identify reasons for FSE under utilization / high SOS levels and make recommendations to the supervisor to implement a long term solution.


To Ensure that the correct workload balance between employed and contractor FSE's are maintained and reflected in accordance with the field model as the workloads dictate's is necessary.


To Ensure we explore all possibilities of allocating work to alternative FSE in the event of a problem/ rebooking of an appointment to help keep customer loyalty and trust. Where this is not possible aim to offer additional service to restore customer faith.


To respond to telephone calls/ Emails from FSE/ Internal colleagues in a warm and professional manner.

Hours: Monday - Friday alternating weekly with 2 shifts:

Week 1 - 7.30- 16.00

Week 2 - 08:30 - 17:00

Both shifts finish 30 minutes early on a Friday so weekly hours are 37.

There is a requirement to work 1 in 7 Saturdays which is done on a Rota Bases and is 08:00 - 12:15
