Our client, is a public distance Learning and Research University, and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.
They are looking to recruit Senior Customer Service Advisors to join their Student Services team in Milton Keynes. This role is to start 24 January until 31 July 2022, working 37hrs a week. This role is working from home currently and equipment will be supplied, however there may be a need to work at times in the Milton Keynes office.
The hourly rate is £12.21ph.
Initially the hours will be Monday to Friday working between 9am-6pm (usually asking for at least one 6pm finish per week).
The role is to provide complex and/or curriculum related advice to support students and potential students in registration and study with The Open University, through both proactive and reactive contact via a number of channels including inbound and outbound telephone calls, emails, letters, online webchat, online forums and face to face.
Skills and Experience required
- Good communication skills and to be able to offer support and empathy if required.
- Strong IT skills to be able to learn and use the inhouse and MS office packages.
This role involves an initial 3 weeks full time training and will be conducted online, however there are possible visits to the office as well.
Throughout training normal office hours will apply and no annual leave is allowed during this period.
