Specifications Technologist

We are currently working with a Food Manufacturing business on the outskirts of Diss, who has been established for over 40 Years. With the family values still being the same today as they were when they were first started. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Specifications Technologist to join their team permanently.

After perfecting their products, the company has grown in success and is now recognised nationally, working with some of UK largest supermarkets and food services. This is a real success story of how the business has gone from strength to strength through the decades. This food manufacturing business is a very well known poultry business who is one of the market leading businesses within the UK. Do you have experience working as a Specifications Technologist?

Do you have knowledge working within a meat packing or meat processing industry?

Do you have experience working to customer specifications?

If the answer is yes, then this is the ideal position for you!

As the Specifications Technologist, you will be working closely with the Technical Managers to ensure that all products are specified with all accurate information and detailed to customer requirements.

Duties:

• You will be responsible in producing all new specifications in a timely manner including photos and quality standards, helping internal stakeholders to understand the process in more detail
• Providing technical assistance to the Product Development team with all trials, pre-productions and assistance in the factory at launch stage
• Be familiar with all retailer on line systems to produce finished product specifications
• Complete, document and verify internal audits carried out against the internal audit plan.

Experience:

• Experience within an FMCG environment
• Experience working with customer specification systems
• Working experience as a Specification Technologist
• Understanding of working with both internal and external stakeholders
• Good IT Skills (EXCEL in particular)

This position is working Monday to Friday - 8:00am - 17:30pm
