My Client is a leading industrial supplies organisation providing a wide range of goods and services to industrial and manufacturing markets. A family owned business with sites across the UK and in Europe, I am currently exclusively supporting them with their search for an Electrically Bias Shift Engineer on a rotating 4 Day-4 Night 12 hour rotating weekly.

The role:

  • You will engage with & report to the Engineering Manager, with responsibility maintenance, repair and planned preventative maintenance of plant equipment.
  • You will manage the stock control of critical spares to minimise production downtime and respond to breakdowns in a timely manner diagnosing faults as well as making recommendations for plant improvements.

As an experienced Maintenance Engineer, you will:

  • Be electrically bias, multi skilled Engineer who has served a recognised electrical apprenticeship with at least 5 years proven experience in a fault-finding environment.
  • Experienced with Robotic and PLC systems would be a distinct advantage.
  • Demonstrate high levels of Health and Safety awareness as well as excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Sound experience in applying modern engineering techniques in a medium-high volume manufacturing business Presenting a problem-solving can-do attitude will be key to success.
