Job Details

Our client who are a global leader in advanced materials and technology manufacturing are looking to expand their operational workforce due to growth.

We are looking for multiple Forklift Counterbalance drivers to support the manufacturing team in the efficient distribution of goods around the site. Experience of operating a Reach vehicle is also advantageous, though not essential.

The rate of pay would be £11.12 per hour and the role is shift based.

You will be working on average 37.5 per week. Shifts are typically 8 hours, Mon - Fri, and rotate between 6AM, 8AM and 10AM start times across a three week period.

In addition, there is often overtime available which is paid at either 1.5x or 2.0x rate depending on if weekday or weekend, though overtime availability is not guaranteed.

Main duties

  • Be responsible for distributing various materials around the site and distribution warehouses
  • Maintain clear and accurate stock and distribution records
  • Support in other areas of the manufacturing environment when required .

Key Skills

  • Valid & in-date Counterbalance FLT License
  • Reliable
  • Good communication skills
  • Operating in an efficient manner whilst adhering to safety standards

This opportunity is available initially on a six month temporary to permanent basis, but offers a longer-term career position for the right candidates.
