Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver

Manpower are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy wholesaler in Paddock Wood, Kent.

The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for the timely and accurate checking and recording of goods received as well as the timely and accurate picking and checking of customer orders for loading onto Company delivery vehicles. As well as using a range of forklift vehicles to move goods around the warehouse (license permitting).

Hours 8am-5pm.

Please note that it is beneficial if you have a valid, current counterbalance or reach forklift license.

Responsibilities will include:

• Unloading of goods in and checking of products against delivery sheets
• Putting goods received away into warehouse location
• Picking of customer orders from computer generated picking ticket
• Checking of other members of staff's picked goods
• Loading of goods onto Company's delivery vehicles
• Decanting of products from cardboard packaging into crates for storage and onward delivery
• Baling of waste cardboard/shrink wrap for environmental recycling
• Carrying out spot stock checks as and when required

Salary on offer is up to £23,000 dependent on experience and forklift license.
