A great opportunity to join Babcock International to support and maintain apprenticeship delivery excellence for the BMW/MINI Brands at The BMW GB Training Academy near Reading, Berkshire. Previous experience in this role, whilst preferred, is not essential as gaining a relevant training qualifications are supported by Babcock International.

You will be a flexible and adaptable person with the desire to share knowledge, motivate and encourage learning using your highly positive and solution focussed attitude. Great interpersonal and communication skills are of course key, along with good time management and attention to detail.

What will you be doing?

As a Trainer/Assessor you will play a key role, working as part of the Academy team developing our learner journey to Technician status, ensuring high quality values are maintained across the BMW Group Academy, whilst supporting the wider Babcock training provision, when or if required.

Your duties will include:

  • Delivering, developing and designing, training programmes.
  • Liaising in partnership with the customer to identify training needs within the BMW Network.
  • Responding to changing customer needs by providing timely and effective training solutions.
  • Supporting the Academy team in meeting Babcock objectives, Key Performance indicators (KPIs) and contract service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Working in partnership with Assessor Coaches, Trainers and Assessors to deliver effective training.
  • Proactively market courses/events to potential delegates and Retailers.
  • Where courses require certification, ensuring that the relevant certificates are produced and sent to delegates working with the Academy Training Advisor to achieve this.

The experience you will ideally bring

You must have or have the ability to obtain an enhanced DBS security clearance.

We would also like you to have the following:
* Extensive Motor Industry knowledge and practical experience.
* Level 3 motor vehicle qualification is a must.
* Relevant Science, Maths & English qualifications.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office standard packages, e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* A teaching qualification at level 3, an assessor qualification or having previously worked for BMW would be desirable but not essential.
