Technical Sales Engineer

Manpower are working with a global specialist manufacturer in UV technology in their search for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their small, passionate team. Within this role, you will utilise your experience to assist the Head of Global Sales in establishing new business opportunities. You will be the main point of contact for customers, answering queries and providing technical advice.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a technical background. You will be highly motivated sale focused with a genuine passion for technology.

This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week Monday- Friday. Salary of £30000 - £40000 dependant on experience.

Responsibility to include:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with external businesses and strategic partners
• Attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences
• Following up on new business opportunities and arranging meetings
• Working closely with other departments to maximise sale opportunities with product partners.
• Consulting mid and senior-level management on business trends with the view of developing new services
• Identifying opportunities for new campaigns that will increase sales

• Ensuring that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's CRM or other sales management system.
• Following up new business opportunities and arranging meetings
• Networking to maximise global outreach
• international travel when required

You will have/be:

• Exceptional communicator with an excellent standard of written English
• Organised, approachable, dependable, and willing to go the extra mile
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Minimum of 1-year experience in sales
• Good attention to detail

Qualification

• Engineering / Technical degree
• GCSE Maths (Grade C or above)
• GCSE English (Grade C or above)
• IT Skills, Microsoft word, excel, outlook
