I have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner or Manager to work for leading Global leader in Logistics on a 12-month fixed term contract- My client supports industry and trade in the global exchange of goods through land transport, worldwide air and ocean freight, supply chain management & contract logistics.

My client is looking for a flexible and talented Business Partner to join the HR Team, based in Heathrow, working collaboratively with wider HR Team & business across the UK&IE.

Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will be driving your business units through an exciting period of growth and transformation in the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for driving their performance by facilitating the creation and delivery of operational business plans that support and align with the client`s overall strategy.

A great opportunity for someone looking for a mix of both strategic and operational responsibilities with the opportunity to influence at Senior level whilst also proactively managing HR issues. You will shape, implement, influence, manage and deliver a broad range of People initiatives and activities which will promote engagement across the business. You will have direct line management responsibility for one Senior HR Advisor aligned to your business areas.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience within an HR Business Partner or Manager role
  • CIPD qualified, or studying towards (desirable)
  • Excellent knowledge of UK Employment Law and HR best practice
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching and influencing skills
  • Highly proactive with a strong sense of self-initiative
  • Sets and expects high standards of performance from HR and Operational teams
  • Proven experience of developing relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
  • Makes smart, well-informed decisions driven by data analytics
  • Able to present well and articulate ideas effectively to influence and gain buy-in from senior stakeholders
  • Resilient under pressure or opposition and makes controlled responses
  • Comfortable delivering and adapting HR policy and practice within a multi-disciplined workforce including office and warehouse environments
  • Experience in managing, coaching, and mentoring junior HR team members (desirable)

Salary & Benefits:

  • 12-month FTC
  • Base salary 45 - 55k (dependent on experience & location)
  • Location flexible and can work from home predominantly but would require some travel - Head office Heathrow Area
  • Car allowance £525 p/m
  • 15% target bonus (on basic salary)
