This is your opportunity to join Babcock International coach building and conversion of new and used vehicles within Babcock Vehicle Engineering, part of Land sector. Complexity will vary from basic lining to full bespoke vehicle conversion.

Who we are looking for?
We are looking for an effective verbal and written communicator with the ability to work effectively under own initiative, or as part of a team to achieve desired results.

What will you be doing?
As a Coach builder your duties include but are not limited to the stripping and fitting of all types of commercial vehicles from small vans to HGV.

Your other duties will include:
* Construction of bespoke vehicle conversions
* Fault finding and rectification
* Removal and fitting of seats, panels, roof lining, door cards, interior trim, carpets, switch gear, light clusters and bumpers
* Upgrading glass fitment, removal and refitting of interior trims
* General modifications to original vehicle build
* Working to vehicle build specifications
* Liaising with other shop floor staff and production management teams

The experience you'll bring
* Proven demonstrable experience carrying out the above activities/duties
* Must have (NVQ level 2), Coach Building / Commercial vehicle conversions or proven equivalent experience
* Read and interpret engineering plans and diagrams.
* Ability to demonstrate high level of engineering industrial standards
* You must have or have ability to obtain SC security clearance
