Manpower are currently recruiting for an Operations and Planning Co-ordinator for a prestigious client based in Wolverhampton.

As an Operations and Planning Co-ordinator you will provide administrative and organisational support to the site management team and the central planning function. Ensuring that team requirements are efficiently and competently adhered to and are completed in a timely manner.

Main Duties include

  • Complete all administrative tasks for the Operations Manager, Production Manager and Logistics and Planning Manager
  • Manage incoming emails and calls from the business, internal customers and suppliers
  • Support managers in documenting weekly and monthly reporting of overtime worked to HQ and reporting total hours
  • Support Site Planning and Logistics Manager in preparing paperwork that is needed to execute works, this includes financial paperwork (e.g. CAPEX requests), work instructions (e.g. gather technical drawings) etc.
  • Attend daily planning meetings to take minutes and maintain action log
  • Support the UK Planning and Performance manager through the creation and maintenance of national reports
  • Raising purchase orders and processing orders for the production facility resolving any queries raised
  • To work in a safe and sensible manner within the boundaries of the Company Health and Safety Policy and any additional site restrictions.

Suitable candidates will have

  • Must be organised and methodical
  • Must work with a pro-active attitude and a high level of customer service (both internal and external).
  • Able to prioritise work load and must be capable of managing own time in order to meet deadlines
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Able to work under own initiative or as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic; self-starter; results orientated
  • Good ability to plan, anticipate and react positively
  • Good communication and relationship building skills
  • Must have experience of working as a Team Assistant (or similar administrative role) ideally within a production/manufacturing environment
  • IT literate with knowledge of MS Word, Excel skills (including lookup, pivot, slicer and tables), PowerPoint and Outlook (essential) + Navision and/or InspHire (desired)
  • Experience in consistently delivering within a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have extensive administration experience
  • Project or planning co-ordination experience would be desirable
  • Has proven experience and ability to work effectively with internal and/or external customers.

This is a temp to perm position working 8am-4pm Monday-Friday paying £22k per annum
