Our client is currently looking to recruit a committed individual to work in their sales team based Stanley.
Our client is one of the market leaders in the manufacture of recycled plastic products, supplying a wide range of products including play equipment, outdoor furniture, fencing, dog agility equipment and boardwalks to schools, councils and industry.
Our client manufactures all its products on site enabling them to offer bespoke solutions to our customers` needs as well as a wide range of stock lines. The company has grown with the increased awareness of environmental issues and is proud to boast that it is in the forefront of the drive to reduce landfill and make waste a resource rather than a problem. All products are made from 100% UK recycled plastic (HDPE) and all are manufactured to our Environmental Standard ISO 14001 registered facility in Durham, England.
The role is to achieve sales targets through developing customer relationships and utilising excellent product knowledge and selling skills. Working in a small team, selling both to existing markets such as schools and pubs as well as identifying and developing new markets.
Keys responsibilities include:
" Maximise sales in existing markets and identify and develop new markets and business opportunities.
" Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via telephone, email and mail-shots.
" Develop new markets and business opportunities in line with Company products.
" Cold call potential new customers from databases.
" Follow up new leads from customer enquiries, converting incoming inquiries into confirmed orders
" Prepare and send quotations for customers.
" Deal with customer complaints, investigating issues with relevant departments with aim of resolving promptly and escalating to manager when required.
