Manpower are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Milton Keynes for a Finance Executive to join their team on a temporary basis.

The hourly rate is £12 per hour and you will be expected to work a 35 hour week.

Reporting to the Rental Operations Analyst, the primary purpose of the role will be to support the Rent-a-Car Department with numerous financial processes, including processing purchase orders, invoicing, monitoring budgets and spend, and some credit control support will be required. This analytical role will require reconciliation work and customer finance management, with direct contact with customers, key stoke holders and internal departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Raising Purchase Orders for services due to be incurred
  • Being first point of contact for Finance department regarding additional adhoc invoices
  • Monitoring spend against set budgets and cost centres
  • Processing invoices against purchase orders
  • Creating invoices based on variable information
  • To manage dedicated email inboxes and respond to queries, forwarding on to the relevant team member/ department when required
  • To answer general incoming queries into the department via phone or email
  • To support with Month End activities for the Rent-a-Car Department, including processing invoicing and performing spot checks for accuracy of information
  • Sending customer invoices on a daily basis
  • To perform monthly reconciliations for key accounts, verifying accuracy of information
  • Investigating any finance queries, working with internal stakeholders to find a resolution for key accounts and corporate customers.
  • To pull reports from our rental system and send these regularly to the relevant stakeholders as a back-up for the required Finance information
  • Support with User Management access request for new starters
  • To run pre-existing reports following a set process document.

REQUIREMENTS


  • Experience of working with data and providing management information
  • Experience of managing numerous stakeholders
  • Experience of working to service levels and quality measures
  • Customer service experience within the automotive industry (desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
  • Ability to develop and sustain positive and co-operative working relationships with a broad variety of internal and external partners
  • Strong organisation and planning skills, delivering quality output to deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, negotiation and communication skills
