This role will be working within our Clean Energy business specifically our Operating Plant Services business unit which plays a leading role in nuclear generation including a major contribution to the transformation of EDF's reactor technology to meet the changing demands of nuclear power. Cavendish is a trusted partner to EDF for the safe operation, late life management, life extension and ultimately the defueling and decommissioning of their sites.

What will you be doing?
We have a new opportunity for an EC&I Site Engineer to join us at our Hartlepool site working on various projects. The successful candidate will be based full time at Hartlepool for 37 hours per week undertaking work prescribed by the investment delivery team. Types of projects: will include work packages ranging in value of 50k-250k centred around the modification or implementation of new or existing plant equipment.

The experience you'll bring:
* Previous experience working in the Nuclear or Defence Sector or within an alternative highly regulated environment for example: Oil and Gas, Rail, Pharma etc.
* Previous experience in EC&I engineering projects this role will require computer literacy as the successful candidate will be responsible for producing method statements, risk assessments acting as the main point of contact for engineering solutions the Supervisors and Technicians completing the work packages

    Ideally will have previous Experience in a large industrial site environment - EDF or nuclear experience preferred
    * Degree qualified or possessing extensive experience in an engineering role, time served Engineer - HNC
    * CTC security clearance required
