We have an opportunity for the provision of equipment repair solutions and overhaul support for internal and external customers within the Factory Group under the Base Services business unit at Devonport.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a Production Engineer to support and process the production control activities (H&S, reporting, management of sub-contractors, job plans etc.). This includes management of the material support process, resolving technical issues, raising concerns as well as communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

What will you be doing?

* To comply with all Company H+S regulations and policies
* To process production equipment survey reports, identifying / ordering additional materials, sub-contracts and labour requirements
* To raise work instructions (MTs) iaw with technical drawings, work-list and contract requirements, including quality documentation
* To provide technical support to bids and VOs
* To create job-plans and parts-lists for new equipment within the PPS production system
* Liaise with customers and project groups at progress meetings

The experience you'll bring

* Marine mechanical equipment/repair knowledge
* Previous experience in a production/factory environment
* Excellent communicator and able to deal with external stakeholders
* Minimum ONC in Engineering (ideally mechanical)

You will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.
