Transport Supervisor

We currently have an exciting opportunity with one of our clients in Glasgow. They are looking to add a motivated transport supervisor to their team.

This role would be suitable for someone who has worked in the transport industry, ideally within a distribution environment.

Role

• Transport planning
• Driver de-brief
• Appraisals and performance reviews
• Operational administration as required
• Ad-Hoc transport office duties

Desired skills

• Excellent communication skills
• An understanding of compliance within the transport industry
• Ability to build positive working relations with customers, suppliers and colleagues
• Must be IT literate (Including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel)
• The ability to work under pressure within a busy transport office
• Experience in an operational role in a logistics or haulage business

This role will be working Monday - Friday day shift
