We are proud to be working with one of the worlds leading independent Chemical Manufacturers based in Selby, to help them to recruit for a Shift Production Operator with FLT licence to join their business permanently.

The Shift Production Operator is responsible for overseeing the production process of a chemical plant facility. The goal of is to monitor equipment and improve the quality, efficiency and safety of the manufacturing plant.

Duties:
*Use of Data Acquisition software to monitor the condition of process parameters
*Reading instruments and making adjustments to settings as required
*Packing and storing finished batches
*Manual operation of valves, pumps and set points.
*Taking scheduled samples for lab or on plant self-analysis

Experience:
*Expereince within a manufacturing environment or
*Experience within FMCG, Chemical or Pharmaceutical Industries
*Must be willing to work on a shift pattern covering days and nights
*Knowledge of assisting with breakdowns
*Forklift License, Counterbalance essential
