Deck Planner

Manpower has an exciting opportunity to become a deck planner based at our client in Bathgate.

In the deck planning role, you will be consolidating cargo to maximise the capacity of each truck and driver so that multiple shipments can be delivered in the fewest number of vehicles.

You will be working Mon-Fri back shift 12pm - 8pm paid at £12 per hour.

The main roles included are:

• Strategically planning how loads will be organised in the truck.
• Communicate effectively with Internal departments to ensure their requirements are fulfilled in line with their booking instructions.
• Liaise with other departments regarding any discrepancies or requirements.
• Being able to work to tight deadlines.
• Organising deliveries to insure you are using maximum space within the vehicle.
