Manpower are recruiting Vehicle Porters to work for our public sector client.
Duties and responsibilities
- Transporting ambulances, buses and rapid response cars from the commissioning centre to ambulance stations across Wales.
- Collecting redundant ambulances, buses and rapid response cars from over Wales and transporting to the commissioning centre for decommissioning.
- Stocking clinical equipment and consumables into new vehicles
- Removing redundant clinical equipment and consumables from redundant vehicles
- Movement of vehicles between repair contractors across Mid & West Wales
You will also be required to undertake extra duties such as jet washing, valeting and odd jobs to support the wider team with the end goal to ensure the operation of vehicles are back on the road enabling the team to reach more patients.
Essential requirements: Valid C1 License (7.5t )
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3 pm
Pay £11.53 per hour
Contract - Temporary, duration unknown
Location - Cardiff
Immediate start date available subject to satisfactory references.
