An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation. Our client, a blue-chip IT company, is currently seeking an Operations Manager (Clearance required) based at Aldermaston with at least 3 days per week on site. This is a full-time, permanent role. The role is paying up to £45,000 depending on experience. Additional allowances: £4,920 Car Allowance, £1,200 DV Allowance.

**Please note DV security clearance is required for this role therefore if not already cleared must be willing to go through process. For this reason we are only able to progress with applications from British Nationals.**

This role is leading the ITO and PMO team on one of our Bluechip accounts. The successful candidate will be working closely with the customer, Modern Workplace Operations Manager and other members of the management team to implement our contractual delivery requirements as well as leading our incumbent team of circa 40 employees in these two areas.

You will oversee an experienced team including several teams leads dealing with a varied user base in the ITO and PMO space and will need to be adaptable, organised and flexible in your approach in order to conform to tight deadlines and consistently meet service level agreements.

A good understanding of ITO services including Azure, Windows AD, Window Virtual Desktop, UNIX and storage is essential for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage day to day operations for the sites under your remit
  • Act as a central point of contact for the sites under your control and will work closely with the management teams to ensure all workload is completed on schedule and within the budgets set
  • Maintain statement of work to ensure this is a true reflection of client delivery and manage the updating and approval of this
  • Hierarchical point of contact for escalations. Assignment of Technical escalation to relevant resolver where required
  • Manage BAU & Project escalations from the team, Business, Incident and Request Management teams
  • Responsible for people management tasks including but not limited to PDP, absence and performance management, holiday planning, scheduling, one to ones for direct reports, holding team meetings, on boarding/off boarding, time management tasks, recruitment and resource management
  • Manage project requests (from the TWO's system or by other ways of submission). This includes validating requested and assigning to team for delivery
  • Ensure relevant call queues are monitored and responded to within OLA's and SLA's
  • Produce performance metrics weekly and review these with the Account team subsequently compile and deliver presentation on site metrics to respective client as required
  • Assign ad hoc tasks and requests daily
  • Ensure weekly/monthly tasks i.e. audits are carried out including but not limited to the monthly security access. Review confirmation emails and KPI reporting
  • Cascade of information from the company and the Client to the team to ensure they are informed of relevant business updates
  • Responsible for finance tasks including but not limited to monthly billing, additional billing, overtime and standby, budgeting and forecasting
  • Place Smart buy orders
  • Manage security access within team via company and customer security teams
  • Manage HSE concerns and ensure they all have required PPE
  • Review Demand Forecasting for stock associated with the account
