They are looking for an experienced Logistics Project Manager who can lead and deliver significant logistics infrastructure changes through 2022 and 2023. Provide project leadership including stakeholder management, project governance, risk management, and budget control.

Salary - £55,000 + bonus
Duration - To September 2023
Location - Doncaster

Key responsibilities

* Provide leadership support to the UK&I Cluster Logistics Manager to deliver key logistics projects.
* Lead, plan and manage the delivery of the requirements for allocated projects.
* Ensure project delivery achieves governance standards.
* Formulate, report, and control project budgets
* Manage project timelines and prompt resolution of back spikes.
* Manage & escalate risks, issues, dependencies & resource constraints
* Manage project stakeholders effectively, covering third party partner, commercial, finance, sup-ply chain, and customer service teams.
* Monitor and report on project progress in line with project plan
* Structure and facilitate project review cadence including working and steering group
* Any other duties as required

Level of autonomy

* Creation and management of overall project tools and governance (eg gantt chart, risk register, work stream reporting, steering group pack, etc).
* Scheduling of project meeting cadences and own schedule including travel.
* Pro-active engagement of key stakeholders to resolve back spikes and or significant risks.
* Ownership of work stream structure, engagement, and progress reporting.
* Day to day prioritisation of open and assigned projects.


Job requirements

* Experienced in the delivery of major logistics projects including warehouse transformation.
* PRINCE2 or similar qualification.
* Proficiency in the use of MS Office including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Solid organisational skills with attention to detail
* Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Desirable:
* Degree qualification, ideally within supply chain or logistics
* Previous Logistics operational line management experience
