Manpower are now recruiting for an ACCOUNT MANAGER to join the largest and fastest growing technology distribution and specialist service providers in the UK and Ireland! This job is based in Harlow and although initially a hybrid role you must be happy to be office based at least 3 days a week which may increase.

This ACCOUNT MANAGER job is to proactively develop the retail relationships and increase sales of a wide range of products into allocated customers, this will be achieved by structured account management activities.

This is quite a detail focused job so you must have accurate System experience. Intermediate Excel skills are highly desirable for this role as you will be working on the system for most of the day, producing reports and understanding the data.

Duties are as follows;

Manage & develop your own set of accounts ranging from brand new to established customers

Work to daily, weekly & monthly targets set by the General Manager

Take part in daily team meetings & sharing tips & techniques with your colleagues

Build specific product knowledge and understand the market to add value to customers

Deal with customer queries while offering advice and guidance to customers and suppliers

Identify and report sales opportunities that may require additional support to secure business

Undertake research of marketplace & your customers to enhance & grow your account set

Weekly & Monthly Forecasting

Take part in promotions and competitions to build company sales

You will be working with one main account and once you are established in your role you will have the opportunity to travel to Liverpool to meet them and obtain stronger information on the technical products that the company distribute.

Requirements;

You must be IT literate, Word, Excel & Outlook - ideally intermediate Excel including V Look ups & Pivot Tables

A high level of accuracy

SAP experience would be highly desirable

To be a self-starter, to own & work to a target & to take ownership when a problem arises

To be a clear and confident communicator

Great telephone manner

Strong Administration skills

To be comfortable working with up-to-date technology

Currently, this is a hybrid role, working in the office Mon, Tues & Wed - this may change going forward and be 100% office based

Hours of work 9.00 am - 5.30 pm

Starting at 23 days per annum, increasing to 27 upon length of service plus bank holidays
