Working as an Administrator working for our Public Sector Client you will support the department providing a comphenesive administrative service. You will be organised, proactive with excellent IT and communication skills.

Main duties:
  • Operating the internal I.T system to create clinics, process invitation and result letters and manage failsafe processes.
  • Creating screening clinics for static centre and mobile units
  • Auto mailing and franking of mail
  • Preparing clinic paperwork and data storage devices for mobile screening clinics
  • Reception duties at screening, assessment and result clinics
  • Dealing with phone calls from members of the public, processing change of appointments and dealing with general queries
  • Uploading screening information from mobile screening clinics
  • Processing screening and assessment clinic invitations and results
  • Processing undelivered returned mail and dealing with change of addresses
  • Filing
Essential criteria:
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent
  • Educated to NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Care or equivalent experience or willingness to achieve other related skill requirement
  • Competency in the use of screening call/ recall and failsafe information systems once trained. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, Excel and outlook
  • Good level of knowledge across a broad range of administrative functions with some previous administrative experience, preferably in a Health Service environment
  • Following training should have a good understanding of relevant medical terminology and a basic knowledge of all processes involved in screening and the management of participants and their possible outcomes
  • The post holder must be able to work through routine work procedures accurately and methodically and have the ability to prioritise own workloads and use own initiative and judgements within set guidelines
  • To adhere to and maintain an up to date knowledge of National and Welsh policies and procedures
Job type - Temporary

Duration - 3 Months

Working hours - Full time, 37.5 hours per week, 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday

Hourly rate - £9.50 - £9.65
