This Multi Award winning company is requiring a Material Planner to join their stores team based in Plymouth.

Material Planner (Stores)
Location: Plymouth
Type: Permanent

Duties:

Handle, identify and sort incoming requisitions accordingly using MRP.

Reprioritise work continually to ensure urgent deadlines are met.

Ensure urgent orders are delivered on time, chasing suppliers for any orders that have not been fulfilled.

Demonstrate excellent levels of customer service to internal departments. Specifically mention raising purchase orders in an ERP/MRP systems

Qualifications:

A strong confident telephone manner

Good Written English and verbal skills

Competent in all Microsoft office programmes

Excel skills - ideally with experience of pivot tables, however not essential

Ability to work well in a team and independently

Ideally have experience of SAP or a similar ERP/MRP system

Problem solving to resolve late supplier deliveries
