Print Solutions Consultant
Manpower is currently recruiting for a Print Solutions Consultant on a permanent basis for one of our clients based in Edinburgh.
Role Description and Background
Our client is Scotland's leading provider of Document Solutions, Multi-Function Devices, Printers and Scanners.
They work with a wide range of partners including PaperCut, Kofax, EveryonePrint, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Canon and HP to provide industry leading solutions to our clients throughout the United Kingdom.
The Print Solutions Team are responsible for supporting the Sales Teams and managing the implementation of Print Management Solutions.
We are recruiting for an additional Pre-Sales Consultant, preferably with industry experience, to join the growing team.
Primary Role - Pre-Sales:
Provide pre-sales support by working closely with the Sales Teams to understand and define client's key business drivers and requirements
Propose software solutions which meet those requirements, ensuring they are technically viable and add value to the overall proposal
Understand and demonstrate solutions products to clients at showroom demonstrations or onsite Proof of Concepts and articulate the business benefits they offer
Create software quotations which include all license, installation and support costs
Actively research and understand the marketplace to ensure proposals are competitive, add value and create unique selling points
Support sales teams throughout the contract lifecycle including at client review meetings and identifying opportunities to upsell into existing accounts
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a software consultant, technical architect or software solution design role
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to confidently present sales proposals
An understanding of IT/Networking concepts including Microsoft client and server operating systems, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, LDAP, network management (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, firewalls), and printer management (printer drivers, printer languages, printer installation) a Microsoft Certification would be advantageous
Advanced administration skills, in particular using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work effectively as part of a team with shared objectives and on own initiative
Excellent time management, particularly the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in line with business objectives
Main Benefits/Conditions:
Salary + car allowance
Main working hours: 08.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Holiday allowance of 33 days per annum pro-rata, including Public Holidays, rising to 36 days after 2 years' service, and 38 days after 5 years' service.
Auto enrolment into the company pension scheme with minimum personal contribution of 5% matched by a maximum company contribution of 4%
