Now is your opportunity to join Babcock as a Project Controller. Reporting to the Construction Health & Safety Manager, the Project Site Controller shall develop and maintain effective project co-ordination and support to Naval Base Projects, within HMNB Clyde. Ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental controls are in place and maintained. Monitor and evaluate compliance with base processes and conditions.

Offering support to the Project Teams on technical and quality issues based on a sound construction management background.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for Project Controller that has experience of managing project teams that can work effectively as an individual or in teams, with a flexibly and resourceful approach.

What will you be doing?

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Review Risk Assessment, Method Statements and Competencies of Contractor, Construction Phase Plans and associated documentation,
* Support appropriate process documentation and SSOW to ensure compliant delivery of projects.
* Managing contractor relationships and regularly review performance progression.
* Monitors risks, timescales and resources.
* Ensure Projects Department is compliant regarding statutory / mandatory legislation.
* Evaluate and assess risks to projects, review competence commensurate to the activity for the program.
* Report and record non-conformance and incidents. Conduct investigations into the act.

The experience you'll bring

* Experience and familiarisation of modern Project Management Methodologies and toolsets.
* Good Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages
* Knowledge of building control to ensure that the Project is delivered within the legal standards
* Knowledge of Risk Management to evaluate impact on Project Delivery
* You should hold or have ability to obtain full SC Clearance
