A niche Freight Forwarder based just outside Southampton are looking to recruit a Freight Forwarder to join a busy team. Whilst this company works on a lot of niche contraxts and also a lot of Air freight projects, they are multi-modal - and you will get fully immersed in being a multi-modal forwarder. The Company are more than happy upskilling if you do not have multi-modal experience (eg to date all of your experience is Sea Freight imports).
More importantly for this company is the individual and what traits you demonstrate. The suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate their willingness to learn and been keen to develop a long-term career with on the job training.

You could be responsible for Import, Export (domestic and international) and cross trade and could be working with air, sea, rail and road solutions - but as already stated Air Freight is predominantly used.
The role is highly client-centric so great communication skills, and an ability to deal with contacts at all levels of business, are essential.
This company are a small team and put a great deal of emphasis on responsibilities, competence and contribution to the immediate team and overall Company.
Preferably you will have Dangerous Goods experience - and ideally a relevant Dangerous Goods qualification / certificate. Again, this is not a pre-requisite.

Salary and package:

Discretionary company bonus
20 Days Annual Leave (Plus Bank Holidays)
