Valve Assembler & Tester

Manpower are advertising a Valve Assembler & Tester vacancy for our client in Newport.

The main responsibiliesresponsibilies are:

To Assemble and Test the range of products in accordance with written/verbal instructions
To fit and test proprietary Actuators and Ancillaries, in accordance with instructions
To record valve serial numbers and material melt numbers for PEDPED compliance
To ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with both Customer and Company requirements, ensuring high quality levels are maintained
To ensure that safe working practices are followed, in compliance with Company and Health and Safety regulations
To report any shortages or defective product to the Production Supervisor
To assist other members of the Sales and Distribution Division in their duties
To be available for overtime working, when the need arises
To assist in the general repair and upkeep of the site, when required
To assist in the Goods Inward receiving process, when required
To assist in all stock-take activities, as directed
To contribute to the good housekeeping of the Warehousing and Production Areas
To follow the Company's General Waste/Recycling policy

Experience of working in an assembly/production environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.
