We are currently working with a Food Manufacturing business on the outskirts of Woodbridge, who has been established for over 40 Years. With the family values still being the same today as they were when they were first started. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their team permanently.


After perfecting their products, the company has grown in success and is now recognised nationally, working with some of UK largest supermarkets and food services. This is a real success story of how the business has gone from strength to strength through the decades. This food manufacturing business is a very well known poultry business who is one of the market leading businesses within the UK. Are you looking for a position as a Quality Assurance Supervisor?

Do you have knowledge working within the Food Manufacturing industry?

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Supervisor is accountable for communicate with QA's and to ensure effective monitoring recording and corrective action of all production line processes. You will also be responsible for ensuring the health & safety and welfare of colleagues working on the shop floor within a specified area, checking equipment is fit for purpose and supporting the QA's, Process controllers and line leaders in their role.

Duties:

  • You will be responsible checking and auditing all process documentation to ensure this is completed correctly and in accordance with site quality procedures.
  • Complete monthly traceability and mass balance incorporating, RTA, Free Range, RSPCA, Gluten Free, British flag (twice a year on schedule) and EU products.
  • Ensure completion of any required customer/ factory samples
    Signing off customer samples to ensure specification and quality is met
  • To ensure that any corrective actions are followed up and closed out.
    To ensure that products meet customer and business specifications.

Experience:

  • Experience within an FMCG environment
  • Experience working within Quality Assurance
  • Managing or Supervising a team
  • Understanding of working with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Good IT Skills (EXCEL in particular)

This position is working Monday to Friday - 10:00am - 19:00pm
