Our client, a well-established energy company, is looking for an experienced administration assistant/analyst to join their team based at Sizewell.

The Performance Improvement department role provides an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the team at Sizewell and get involved in detailed organisational learning from our internal events and industry wide external events. The successful candidate will be involved in data entry and process control for the Corrective Action Programme (CAP), supporting the human performance programme, maintaining our intranet site and providing support for the analysis of our station data for the Key Performance Indicators, and analysing trends.

This role has the potential for working at home one day per week once fully trained. There is also a potential to discuss and agree start and finish times to suit the candidate within boundaries of the business we do.

Nature and Scope

  • Processing the daily Condition Reports (CR's) raised to highlight positive and adverse conditions, including data entry of codes, which are used for trending, using specific computer software.
  • Coordinates and produces electronic packs for the meetings that support the CAP process.
  • Collating and Providing Management Information in support of accountability for site groups e.g action reports, keyword searches, subject trend reports and a monthly dashboard of department data figures.
  • At month end assist the station, the group and the Department Evaluators in closing actions on our specific software database and ensuring, we are fully up to date to support the company's Organisational Learning dashboard (i.e. data checking on specific software Asset Management Suite (AMS).
  • Produces Organisational Learning Reports using our specialised software - Business Objects.
  • Produces information for organisations quarterly trending
  • Supports the Human Performance Leader in the production of trend data and the monthly reports.
  • Provides mid-month data updates for Compliance.
  • Nuclear Safety Culture Survey coordination and organisation.
  • Adding Learning Briefs to the intranet based software library as and when required.
  • Admin support for training programme and high profile visits (security access booking, room booking, records, enrolment, output from sessions, IT Access).
  • Analysis of investigation report information to assist with trending and action placement.
  • CAP process support to ensure smooth running of the Process.
  • General Office Administration

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience

  • Good IT skills are required. The job requires data entry, reporting running, manipulation of spreadsheets and update of the department Intranet Site.
  • Experience in different Computer Software Programmes. (ours are - Business Objects, Asset Management Suite (AMS), Reporting Tools, Intranet building, front end workflow systems for data entry, OneNote, Microsoft Office and document control software.
  • Good communication and Co-ordination skills are required.
  • Strong relationship builder.
  • Organised and attention to detail.
