Location: Flexible Worker - Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO6 3EN (will be required to go into the office 2/3 days a week)
Compensation: £19,000 - £20,000 + Benefits

This is your opportunity to join Babcock as an SSC Accounts Payable Scanning Coordinator. You will be reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, to provide general support to the Accounts Payable Team, predominately supporting the invoice loading activities. These activities include all invoice scanning and uploading into SAP and Omnidox and managing exceptions

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a strong administrator who can demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude. Someone that is an analytical thinker who is highly organised and is a strong team player. You will need excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.

What will you be doing?

Your main duties will include:

  • Extract incoming invoices from the AP mailboxes each day, moving them to the scanning folders ensuring all invoice backup is included.
  • Moving the actual email, once the invoice has been removed, into the appropriate folder in the company mailboxes.
  • Scan and upload the documents through the ICC programme.
  • Ensure that the documents in the VIM inbox are allocated to the correct company code and correct vendor name
  • Omnidox loading and management of exceptions in that system.
  • Responsible for the collection of post received in Lakeside.
  • Sort mail and deliver all statements and correspondence to the AP team, retaining invoices for upload into ICC and subsequent checking in the VIM inbox.

The experience you'll bring

  • Ability to present and explain data clearly & concisely.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office 2010 suite of applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Adopts a customer-centric approach to delivery of service.
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion and confidentiality in respect to the work undertaken.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience in using SAP is desirable.

Lastly, you should hold or have the ability to obtain full SC clearance.
