Role: Production Supervisor
Location: Tamworth

Salary £29,250

10am - 10pm outside peak.

Split into day & night shift (10am - 10pm & 10pm - 10am) at 4 peak times of the year


What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will organise the Production teams to optimise productivity.

Main Responsibilities

Have responsibility to ensure that cards and gifts are internally manufactured and fulfilled in accordance with our 'customer guarantee'.


Strive to achieve Despatch On Time targets while maintaining sufficient quality ratios.


Demonstrate a flexible working attitude; being adaptable in the working environment to ensure the Company achieves daily deadlines.


Ensure data is accurately recorded and reports maintained.


Delegate effectively to Production teams to ensure consistent workflow.

Implement shift rotas and staff utilisation for peak periods.

Supervise the Card & Gift Production teams; monitoring staff performance, meal breaks etc. recording all information appropriately and addressing staff issues as they arise while liaising with the Production Manager.

Delegate appropriately to ensure the integration and training of temporary and new staff.

Be aware of Health and Safety within the workplace as to create a safe working environment.

Ensure staff training documentation and procedures are updated regularly.

Carry out any other duties, as requested, to support the Production Manager and The Company in meeting customer demand.

About you​

  • Previous supervisory management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to build and maintain relationships within the business
  • Strong prioritisation skills
  • Delivery and quality focused.
  • Understanding of word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Flexible attitude to work.
