Maintenance Electrician - Omagh

Our client are a leading animal feeds producer with a modern automated plant based in Omagh.

We are recruiting a Maintenance Electrician who will join the engineering team carrying out maintenance and repairs on automated production machinery.

Suitable candidates will need an electrical or multi-skilled qualification with similar industrial maintenance experience, ideally with an electrical bias.

8 hour shift pattern rotating across early, days, evenings and nights, only doing 1 night shift every 5 weeks.

39 hour week with an earlier finish on Fridays.

Occasional Saturday work comes with overtime 1.5 rate

The Role

• Preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery
• Electrical fault finding, trouble shooting and problem solving
• Some mechanical repairs and fitting as required
• Respond to breakdowns quickly and carry out repairs safely
• Support engineering maintenance improvements and follow PM schedules
• Work with health & safety as a priority

What we are looking for

• Level 3 Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering
• Maintenance experience in a similar industrial production setting
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, fault finding and repairs
• Working knowledge of automated machinery/ PLC's
• Preferably hold 17th / 18th edition
