Mobile Fitter

Permanent position. Excellent opportunity to join a leading company as a Mobile Plant Mechanic and Fitter based in York. You will play a pivotal role in the success of the depot by ensuring that customers can hire what they want, when they need it through the efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of plant and tools within the company fleet.

You will be responsible for attending customer sites and breakdowns to maintain, identify and repair any faults or damage to company fleet equipment whilst accurately updating service records.

Skills and experience required:

• Proven experience working as a plant mechanic/fitter in a field-based role with a relevant mechanical qualification or by experience essential
• Sound and current knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• A customer-focused approach workload and committed team player
• A valid driving licence is essential
