An exciting opportunity have arisen for a Site Supervisor join our client based in London (SE1). This is a temporary role for 3 months with potential for extension, working 40 hrs per week 8.00am - 4.45pm (45 minute lunch - site open 7am-7pm some flexibility is required) paying between £25 - £27 per hour PAYE only depending on experience.
**This role requires a drugs screening before starting onsite**
This is an established national service contract with a large scope of building and accommodation services. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations and will be responsible for their team of engineering staff.
Responsibilities
- Managing PPM completion to agreed SLA's
- Providing a reactive service to deal with issues both in hours and out of hours
- Management of sub-contractors for service and project works
- Meeting room set-up to meet customer requirements
- Assisting s Internal Audit Team (IAT) as required
- Supporting external audits representing the client
- Front line HSE implementation and management
- Customer liaison - attending regular customer meetings as required
- Management & updating of Concept
- Accurate Forecasting of extra works
- Quoting for extra works and obtaining the required approvals
- Approval of timesheets / expenses
- Ordering of parts and materials
- Goods receipting of deliveries
- Continuous improvement initiatives
- Promotion of energy initiatives / Observations
- Management of waste disposal & associated documentation
Skills and Experience
- Experience in BMS, Fire Systems, Electrical switchgear, Mechanical ventilation and air conditioning systems, Drainage systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good level of customer focus / customer service
- Good computer skills (Proficient with Excel & knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Good M&E knowledge
- Accuracy, sound judgment and good prioritisation skills
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines, (including outside normal office hours if required) and to have a flexible, service conscious approach
- Be punctual and have a proven sickness and time-keeping record
