We have an exciting opportunity with Babcock International, supporting the Royal Air Force at Shawbury in storing and maintaining Fast Jets. You will be joining the team as a Avionics Supervisor. This role will see you supervising and supporting a team of Avionics Engineers in carrying out varying types of maintenance to multiple models of Fast Jets.

Who we are looking for?
We are looking for an AMSU Avionics Supervisor to provide supervision and Avionic specialisation to AMSU Storage Team at RAF Shawbury. You should be an experienced Avionics Engineer, who has plentiful experience working with Fast Jets and can hold authorisation to a 3rd Signatory level.

What will you be doing?
* Preparing various aircraft types for storage.
* Carrying out in storage maintenance across a wide range of air platforms.
* Preparing aircraft for sale and/or disposal.
* Any other task as directed by the AMSU Manager or their Deputy.

The experience you'll bring
* Formal avionics aircraft engineering training for trade with formal certification.
* MoD Hawk 'T Mk1 Q' course or equivalent.
* Extensive aviation experience
* Demonstrable experience working on fast jet aircraft.
* Significant experience in a supervisory role (You must be able to hold authorisation up to a 3rd signatory level).
* Experience of working on other aircraft type.
* You must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
