We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Information Systems Administrator within our iHub department here at Royal Air Force Shawbury.


Who we are looking for?
We are looking for an Information Support Assistant to support us on all iHub activities. The purpose of your role is critical in helping to keep the Station operating. We want you to bring your eager attitude to support the iHub.


What will you be doing?

You will be supporting the unit by providing guidance to users (military and civilian) by setting up accounts, resetting accounts/passwords and provide practical guidance to users by promoting good practice. You will be administering to the system databases to keep them up to date and accurate. You'll also manage shared, multiuser and group mailboxes, ensuring information is correctly passed on when necessary. Assist the Authorised Telecommunications Officer with the management of all Telecommunications assets (e.g., Telephone Lines, Mobiles) held on station whilst ensuring the Station Telecommunications Record Facility is accurately maintained. Liaise with BT Engineers for any works required across any parented sites.

The experience you'll bring
* 2 GCSE at Grade C or better, one of these qualifications must be in English language. Recognised equivalents accepted.
* Experience with Microsoft packages.
You must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
