About the role:

This is a Customer Service Advisor role joining the Appointment Booking Team which is currently expanding to take inbound calls along with making outbound calls to existing customers. The type of queries range from booking smart meter appointments for customers, issuing key and cards to off supply meters. As a front-line advisor, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and delighting our customers, actively promoting the benefits of smart meters and giving useful energy advice.

You'll initially join us on a temporary basis, but there may be the opportunity to become a permanent employee later.

The benefits:

There's a range of great benefits on offer too:

Initially the pay will be £10.13 per hour with the chance for it to later rise to £11.77 per hour dependant on your performance.

You'll start with 28 days pro-rata annual leave year, but after 12 weeks this will increase to 34 days pro-rata (including bank holidays)

Great support systems in place like mental health first aiders, well-being warriors and one-to-one support meetings to drive your progression.

Mixture of home working and office working following on-site training. You will need to be able to get to site on a regular basis.

About you:

  • Naturally you will have great communication skills and will be comfortable handling a large amount of inbound and outbound calls each day.
  • You will also have the ability to deal with challenging situations in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • You are capable of processing and reacting to change in a proactive way in line with changing regulations.

Hours will be between 8am - 8pm Monday - Friday and between 8am - 6pm on a Saturday, expectation is 1 in 4 Saturdays.
