Warwickshire (M1 / M45 / M6 area).

Up to £80,000 + car hire + bonus + benefits.

With the average tenure in the business at over ten years, opportunities within this impressive organisation rarely become available however, due to strategic expansion and the acquisition of orders securing them until 2029, an opportunity has arisen for a Software Account Manager to join them and take ownership of the management of one of their most lucrative accounts, with an automotive OEM.

Working in close partnership with the Business Unit Director, Technical Sales Lead and Product Leads, you will be responsible for developing differentiator product, business and strategic plans to accelerate the growth of their target core business - leading the business development and major commercial negotiations, in the process.

The core responsibilities for your new role include:

  • Customer engagement.
  • Business development.
  • Commercial account management.
  • Forward model quotation development.
  • Annual and strategic negotiations.

In an ideal world, my client would like to find an accomplished Account or Business Development Manager with automotive Tier 1 experience and expertise in current automotive software product strategy. You will also possess sound technical and commercial understanding of the software industry products and value propositions.

Regardless of previous expertise, you will have the ability to prioritise complex tasks, strong analytical and negotiation experience and be flexible and focused, by nature. You will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent time management and relationship building expertise.

In return, you will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package, including a basic salary of up to £80,000, access to a heavily discounted care hire scheme, bonus, 26 days holiday per year, private medical cover and matched pension contributions up to 9%.

The company are easily accessible from Coventry, Warwick, Rugby, Leicester, Northampton and the surrounding areas and the company offer flexible working, enabling you to work several days per week from home, should you wish to do so.
